(2) Every such Judicial Magistrate shall exercise all other powers, and discharge all other functions, of a Magistrate as provided in this Act. (3) Every Judicial Magistrate appointed under sub-section (1) above shall be called Municipal Magistrate. (4) The procedure in the court of a Municipal Magistrate shall, except where otherwise specifically provided in this Act, be in Central Act 2 of 1974. accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
