This Act has been extended to- (1)Goa, Doman and Diu by Reg. 12 of 1962, s. 3 and Sch. (w.e.f. 15-8-1963); (2) Dadra cud Nagar Haveli by Reg. 6 of 1963, s. 2 and Sch. I; (3) Pondicherry by Reg. 7 of 1963, s. 3 and Sch. I; and (4) Laccadive, Minicoy and Amindivi Islands by Reg. 8 of 1965, s. 3 and Sch. This Act has been modified in its application to apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (52 of 1961) by s. 16 and to that Act.","html":"
