Section 271FAA of the Income-tax Act shall be renumbered as sub-section (1) thereof and in sub-section (1) as so renumbered, for the long line, the following shall be substituted, namely:— \"then, the prescribed income-tax authority under sub-section (1) of section 285BA may direct that such person shall pay, by way of penalty, a sum of fifty thousand rupees.
