(1) For the purposes of this Act, any building in any ward of the Corporation shall, according to the type of structure of such building, be classified as per the bye-laws / rules as may be notified by the Government. (2) The Corporation shall, having regard to the materials of construction used and the construction practices employed, specify, by bye-laws, the types of buildings which may be classified.
