(1) When any land, whether within or outside the limits of the Municipal Corporation area, or any easement affecting any immovable property Central Act 14 of 1920. Central Act 2 of 1882. vested in the Corporation, is required for any public purpose under this Act, the State Government may, at the request of the Corporation, proceed to acquire such land or easement under The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Central Act 30 Act, 2013. of 2013. (2) The Corporation shall be bound to pay to the State Government the cost including all charges in connection with the acquisition of the land under The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. Central Act 30 of 2013. (3) The Corporation may resort to other methods of land assembly including the use of transferable development rights. Special provisions for acquisition of lands adjoining streets.
