In the principal Act, after Section 5, a new Section 5A shall be inserted, namely - Insertion of new Section 5A. "5A. Without prejudice to the provisions contained in Section 3, the Bodo Language shall be used as an Associate Official Language for all or any of the official purposes of the State of Assam as are specified in the Schedule, in the Districts and Subdivisions having substantial Bodo population as may be declared by the State Government from time to time."
