# Bihar State Infrastructure Development Enabling Act, 2006, Section 60: Cognizance of offences

## Text

(1) No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under the Act, except upon a complaint in writing made by an officer of the Infrastructure Development Authority or Conciliation Board as the case may be and no Court other than the Metropolitan Magistrate or a Judicial Magistrate of First Class or a Court superior thereto shall try any such offence. (2) The court may, if it sees reasons so to do dispense with the personal attendance to the officer of the Infrastructure Development Authority or the Conciliation Board filing the complaint.
