THE FINANCE ACT, 1961 No. 14 OF 1961 [29th April, 1961] An Act to give effect to the financial proposals of the Central Government for the financial year 1961-62. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Twelfth Year of the Republic of India as follows:— Short title and commencement 1. (1) This Act may be called the Finance Act, 1961. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, sections 3 to 10 inclusive shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of April, 1961. [Finance Act, 1961] © Copyright.
