THE FINANCE (NO. 2) Act, 1962 No. 20 OF 1962 [22nd June, 1962] An Act to give effect to the financial proposals of the Central Government for the financial year 1962-63. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Thirteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows: - Short title and commencement 1. (1) This Act may be called the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1962. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, sections 3 to 14 inclusive shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 1962 and sub-section (1) of section 16 and section 18 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 23rd day of April, 1962.
