Amendment of section 80T. 23. In section 80T of the Income-tax Act, in clause (b), with effect from the 1st day of April, 1972,— (a) in sub-clause (i), for the words "forty-five per cent", the words "thirty-five per cent." shall be substituted; (b) in sub-clause (ii) and in the proviso, for the words "sixty-five per cent.", wherever they occur, the words "fifty per cent." shall be substituted.
