Amendment of section 80G 16. In section 80G of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (4), with effect from the 1st day of April, 1978,— (a) for the words "two hundred thousand rupees", the words "five hundred thousand rupees" shall be substituted; (b) the proviso shall be omitted.
