Amendment of section 35K 57. In section 35K of the Wealth-tax Act, in sub-section (1), for the words, figures and letters "the assessment year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1988, or any earlier assessment year", the words "an assessment year" shall be substituted and shall be deemed to have been substituted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1989.
