Amendment of section 80G. 24. In section 80G of the Income-tax Act,— (a) in sub-section (1), in clause (i), after the words, brackets, figures and letter "or in sub-clause (ilif)", the words, brackets, figures and letter "or in sub-clause (iiig)" shall be inserted; ' (b) In sub-section (2), in clause (a), after sub-clause (iiif), the following sub-clause shall be Inserted, namely:— "(iiig) the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund during the period beginning on the/1st day of October, 1993 and ending on the 6th day of October, 1993 or to the Chief Minister's Earthquake. Relief Fund, Maharashtra; or"; (c) sub-section (3) shall be omitted; (d) in sub-section (5),— (i) the word "and", occurring at the end of clause (iv), shaft be omitted; (ii) in clause (v), the word "and" shall be inserted at the end.
