Amendment of section 80G. 29. In section 80G of the Income-tax Act, with effect from the 1st day of April, 1999, namely :— (a ) in sub-section (1), in clause (i), after the word, brackets, figures and letters "sub-clause (iiihf)", the words, brackets, figures and letters "or sub-clause (iiihg) or sub-clause (iiihh)" shall be inserted; (b ) in sub-section (2), in clause (a), after sub-clause (iiihf), the following sub-clause shall be inserted, namely :— "(iiihg)the National Sports Fund to be set up by the Central Government; or (iiihh) the National Cultural Fund set up by the Central Government; or (c ) in sub-section (5), in clause (i), the words, brackets, figures and letter "or clause (22) or clause (22A)" shall be omitted. © Copyright.
