Amendment of section 41. 24. In section 41 of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (1), in Explanation 2, after clause (iii), the following clause shall be inserted with effect from the 1st day of April, 2000, namely :— "(iv) where there has been a demerger, the resulting company.". © Copyright.
