Amendment of section 193. 52. In section 193 of the Income-tax Act, in the proviso, in clause (iv), the following proviso shall be inserted with effect from the 1st day of June, 2007, namely:— "Provided that nothing contained in this clause shall apply to the interest exceeding rupees ten thousand payable on 8% Savings (Taxable) Bonds, 2003 during the financial year;". © Copyright.
