Amendment of section 206A. 60. In section 206A of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (1), for the words "not exceeding five thousand rupees", the words "not exceeding ten thousand rupees, where the payer is a banking company or a co-operative society, and five thousand rupees in any other case" shall be substituted with effect from the 1st day of June, 2007. © Copyright.
