Amendment of section 249. 73. In section 249 of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (2), for clause (a), the following clause shall be substituted with effect from the 1st day of June, 2007, namely:— "(a ) where the appeal is under section 248, the date of payment of the tax, or". © Copyright.
