Excise Tariff Amendment of First Schedule 146 . In the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986)(hereinafter referred to as the Central Excise Tariff Act), the First Schedule shall be amended— (i) | in the manner specified in the Seventh Schedule; (ii) | in the manner specified in the Eighth Schedule, with effect from the 1st day of January, 2017.
