CHAPTER XII Miscellaneous PART I Amendments to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 Commencement and Amendment of Act 2 of 1934 219. The provisions of this Part shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification* in the Official Gazette, appoint. * 27-6-2016† †NOTIFICATION NO. SO 2214(E) [F.NO.12/1/2016-FSLRC(i)], dated 27-6-2016.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 219 of the Finance Act, 2016 (28 of 2016), the Central Government hereby appoints the 27th day of June, 2016, as the date on which the provisions of Part I of Chapter XII of the said Act shall come into force.
