PART VIII AMENDMENTS TO THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA ACT, 1992 Commencement of this Part 145.The provisions of this Part shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification*, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Part. *Enforced w.e.f. 26-4-2017.† †NOTIFICATION NO. SO 1317(E) [F.NO.3/9/2015-RE], DATED 26-4-2017.—In exercise of powers conferred by section 145 of the Finance Act, 2017 (7 of 2017), the Central Government hereby appoints the 26th April, 2017, as the date on which the provisions of Part VIII of Chapter VI of the Finance Act, 2017 shall come into force.
