If there is any dispute as to the possession of any homestead or land or building referred to in-sub-section (1) of section 136, the Collector shall, on application made to him in this behalf, make such inquiry as he deems fit and pass such orders thereon as may appear to him just and proper. Collector to take charge of estates etc, vested in the Government Decision of disputes
