ASSAM ACT IX OF 1955 THE ASSAM ADOPTION OF STANDARD WEIGHTS ACT, 1955 (Passed by the Assembly) (Received the assent of the Governor on the 19th April 1955) [Published in the Assam Gazette, dated the 27th April 1955] An Act to provide for the adoption and regulation of the use of standard weights in the State of Assam. Preamble.
