XXIX OF 2010 (Received the assent of the Governor on 31st August, 2010) THE ASSAM ELECTRICITY DUTY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2010 AN ACT further to amend the Assam Electricity Duty Act, 1964. Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Electricity Duty Act, 1964, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing; Assam Act XX: of 1964. It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows :- Short title, extent and commence- ment.
