Whereas it is expedient further to Assam Act amend the Assam Finance (Sales Tax) Act, XI of 1956 1956, hereinafter referred to as the prin- cipal Act, in the manner hereinafter appear- ing ; It is hereby enacted in the Twenty- eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows :-- Short title, extent and commence- ment.
