ASSAM ACT IX OF 1964 THE ASSAM FOREST (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1964 (Received the assent of the Governor on the 11th May 1964) [Published in the Assam Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 14th May, 1964] An Act further to amend the Assam Forest Regulation, 1891. Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Regulation Assam Forest Regulation, 1891, hereinafter called the VII 1891. of said Regulation, in the manner hereinafter appearing ; It is hereby enacted in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows :--- Short title, extent and commence- ment.
