The 31st March 1960 No.LJL.13/60 .- The following Act of the Assam Legislative Assembly which received the assent of the Governor is hereby published for general information. (Received the assent of the Governor on the 31st March 1960) ASSAM ACT No.XIII OF 1960 THE ASSAM SALES TAX (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1930 (As passed by the Assembly) [Published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 31st March 1960] An Act diente ses Code' further to amend the Assam Sales Tax Act, 1947 Preamble. WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Assam Act Assam Sales Tax Act, 1947, hereinatter called the XVII 1947. of Principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing ; It is hereby enacted in the Eleventh Year of the Republic of India as follows :- Short title, extent and commence- ment.

(1) This Act may be called the Assam Sales Tax (Amendment) Act, 1960.
(2) It shall have the like extent as the Principal Act. (3) It shall come into force with effect from the 1st April, 1960. Amendment of section 15 of Assam Act XVII of 1947. 2.
