ASSAM ACT NO. III OF 2025 (Received the assent of the Hon'ble President of India on 13th March, 2025) THE ASSAM SHOPS AND ESTABLISHMENT ACT, 2022 AN ACT to provide for regulations of conditions of employment and other conditions of service of workers and employees in shops and commercial establishments and establishments for public amusement or entertainment and other establishment and for matters connected and incidental thereto. Preamble Whereas it is expedient to provide for the regulation of conditions of workers and employment in shops and commercial establishments and establishments for public entertainment or amusement or other establishment and matters connected therewith and incidental thereto in the State of Assam. It is hereby enacted in the Seventy- third Year of the Republic of India as follows :- Short title, extent and commencement
