The 4th June 1065 No.LJL.18/65/7 .- The following Act of the Assam Legislative Assembly which received the assent of the Governor is hereby published for general information. ASSAM ACT VIII OF 1965 (Received the assent of the Governor on the 3rd June, 1965) [Published in the Assam Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 4th June, 1965] THE DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY ACT, 1965 An Act to establish and constitute a teaching, residential and affiliating University at Dibrugarh Preamble. Whereas it is expedient to establish and constitute a teaching, residential and affiliating University at Dibrugårh ; It is hereby enacted in the Sixteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows :-- Short title 1. (1) This Act may be called the Dibrugarh Uni. and com- mencement. Versity Act, 1965.
