THE ASSAM GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY. JUNE 6, 1992 ASSAM ACT NO. VI OF 1992 (Received the assent of the Governor on 28th May 1992; THE GUWAHATI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1992. AN ACT further to amend the Guwahati Municipal Corpora- tion Act, 1969. Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Guwahati Municipal Corporation Act, 1969, (Assam Act I of 1973) hereinafter called the prin- cipal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing ; It is hereby enacted in the Forty-third year of the Republic of India as follows, namely :- Short title, extent and 1.
