The Goa Change of Name and Surname Act, 1990 1. The Goa Change of Name and Surname Act, 1990 (Act 8 of 1990) [3-9-1990] published in the Official Gazette, Series I No. 25 dated 20-9-1990. 2. The Goa Change of Name and Surname (Amendment) Act, 2019(Goa Act 14 of 2019) [17-9-2019]; published in the Official Gazette Series I No. 25 (Exrordinary-1) dated 23-09-2019 and shall come into force at once. 3. The Goa Change of Name and Surname (Amendment) Act, 2022(Goa Act 15 of 2022) [8-9-2022]; published in the Official Gazette Series I No. 24 (Exrordinary-1) dated 15-9-2022 and it shall come into force w.e.f. 25-12-2022 as Notified vide Notification No. 8/69/2019-LD (Estt)/ 2112 dated 26-12-2022 published in the Official Gazette Series-I No.39 dated 29-12-2022. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Goa in the Forty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows :-
