BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Seventy- second Year of the Republic of India as follows :- 1. (1) " , Act may be called the Manipur Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland (Amendment) Act, 2021.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force from 14th October, 2020. Act No. 10 of 2014. 2. In section 3 of the Manipur Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2014,- (i) for (.), (:) shall be substituted; and (ii) the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :- "Provided that agricultural land already diverted without the approval of Government before the commencement of this Act shall be dealt with under section 20 of the Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms Act, 1960.". Short title and commencement. Amendment of section 3. Act No. 33 of 1960. Scanned with CamScanner Repeal and 3. (1) The Manipur Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland savings. (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 (Ordinance No. 6 of 2020) ic hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
