THE NAGALAND LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY MEMBERS'.SALARIES ALLOWANCES AND PENSION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987. (THE NAGALAND ACT NO. 7 OF 1987) (Received the assent of the Governor of Nagaland on 24th July '87 '1 and published in the Nagaland Gazette extraordinary dated 27th Aug. '87) An Act Further to amend the Nagaland Legislative Assembly No. 6 Members' Salaries, Allowances and Pension Act, 1964. No. 6 of 1964. It is hereby enacted in the thirty eighth year of the Republic of India as follows (1) This Act may be called the Nagaland Legislative Members' Salaries, Allowances and Pension (Amend ment) Act, 1987. de (2) It shall he deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st March, 1981.

In Section 3A (1) of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Members' Salaries, Allowances and Pension Act, 1964 the following shall be inserted after the words 'Nagaland Legislative Assembly' "or Member of the Interim Body constituted under the Nagaland (Transitional Provisions) Regulations, 1961" (No.
2 of 1961) 3. In Section 3A existing Explanation shall be numbered as (1) and the following shall he inserted as item No. 2 after Explanation Number I. "(2) The expression 'term' also includes lesser period than live years in the event of resignation tendered by a member individually or en-bloc".
