The Odisha Gazette EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No.1779, CUTTACK, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2021 / KARTIKA 11, 1943 LAW DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION The 2nd November, 2021 No.11182-I-Legis-11/2021/L .- The following Act of the Odisha Legislative Assembly having been assented to by the Governor on the 28th October, 2021 is hereby published for general information. ODISHA ACT 22 OF 2021 THE ODISHA UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES ACT, 2021 AN de ACT jaC TO PROVIDE FOR ESTABLISHMENT AND INCORPORATION OF A UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES IN THE STATE OF ODISHA AND FOR MATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH OR INCIDENTAL THERETO. WHEREAS, it is expedient to establish and incorporate a University of Health Sciences for the purpose of ensuring affiliation, proper and systematic instruction, training and research exclusively in Modern Medicine, Homeopathy and Ayurveda including Dental education, Mental Health, Pharmacy education, Nursing education, Education on Laboratory and Radiation Technology, Physiotherapy and any other medical or paramedical course in the State of Odisha and to have uniformity in various academic programmes in medical and allied subjects, and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto ; BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Odisha in the Seventy- second Year of the Republic of India as follows :- Shott title. start and commencement.
