Uttar Pradesh Shasan Namami Gange evam Grameen Jalapurti Anubhag-3 In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of following English translation of Notification no-153/LXXVI-3- 2024-13NG/2020, Lucknow dated Febrauary 06, 2024:

Notification No:153/LXXVI-3-2024-13NG/2020 Lucknow; Dated: 06 February, 2024 -: Notification :- WHEREAS it is necessary or expedient in the public interest to manage and regulate ground water for various purposes in any form in certain areas and to enforce rainwater harvesting/ground water recharge and to implement various appropriate water conservation/ water saving/ water efficient practices in over-exploited/critical blocks and stressed urban areas; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Ground Water (Management and Regulation) Act, 2019 (U.P. Act no. 13 of 2019) read with section 21 of Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (U.P. Act no. 1 of 1904) and rule 18 of the Uttar Pradesh Ground Water (Management and Regulation) Rules, 2020, the Governor is pleased, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette, to make the following amendment in Notification no. 331/LXXVI-3-2020-13NG/2020 dated 17 June, 2020: Amendment In the aforesaid notification for the existing Schedule, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely:-
