. I ·· After rule 55. the following rule shall be insened, namely:- "55-A. Allotment of registration ·marl; :

(I) On _'rece_ir1 cf an applic~lio~ made i~ writing by pny pep;on to the rcgist~ring author!ty for reservation of rcg1su-at1on mark. the n:g1scnng autlimty shall reserve the registration mark in the following manner:- ' I· 1 '

(a) Registration mark from O I to 09 in any series preJ.alent 'Mitl1in the jurisdiction or registering authority, shall be n:scr,·ed o_n payment of fee of Rs. 15,C(X) (Rupees Fil\l.-en thousand) for each registration mark. . I

(b) For rese:vati_on of rcg1~tra1inn mark from number, 0 to I (X) in any series prevalent within the jurisdiction of the reg1stm ng author11y. un payment of fee of R!. 12,000 (Rupees Twelve thousand) for each regis1ration mark.
