NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd September, 2010
S.O. 2341(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 and section 17Aofthe Census Act, 1948 (37 of 1948), read with rule 6A of the Census Rules, 1990, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Home Affairs, vide number
S.O. 517 (E), dated the 25th February, 2010, namely:— In the said notification after the words "and Union Territories.", the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:— "Provided that the period of Houselisting Operations of Census of India 2011 is extended up to the 31st October, 2010 in four districts namely Bastar, Dantewada, Bijapur and Narayanpur of the State of Chhattisgarh."
