NOTIFICATION
• New Delhi, the 14thMarch, 2017 G.s.Rh48(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Ce~tnll Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the National Highways Fee (DeterminationiofRates and Collection)Rules, 2008 namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.-{I) These rules may be called the National Highways Fee (Determinationof Rates and Collection) AmendmentRules, 2017.
(2)They shall come into force on the elateof their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the National HighwaysFee (Determinationof Rates anelCollection)Rules, 2008, in rule 3, -
(i) In sub-rule (4), for the word "tractors", the words "tractors, combine harvesters" shall be substituted;
(ii) In the first proviso, for the worel"tractors", the words "tractors, combine harvesters" shall be substituted. Note: The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, Pm1 II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide notification number G.S.R. No. 838(E), elatedthe 5th December, 2008 and subsequently amended vide G.S.R. No. 950(E), dated the 3rd December, 2010; G.S.R. No. 15(E), dated the 12th January, 2011; G.S.R.
