Chandigarh Administration Department of Environment Notification The 0-6 November, 2014 No.SA/ED/2014/ In exercise of the powers conferred under sub rule (3) of Rule 8 of the Bio-Medical Waste (Management and Handling ) Rules, 1998 and in supersession of notification issued bearing No. 3698-411 (4)-99/23635 dated 07.12.1999 the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh hereby prescribes the following fee structure for grant of authorization to every occupier and operator of a bio-medical waste facility, as defined in Rule 3 of the aforesaid rules of 1998 in the Union Territory of Chandigarh:-

4. Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Health Care' 50000 .. Establishments (having more than 200 beds) 5 Any other Institution/Organisation not covered under any of the above category and 1000 generating Bio-medical Waste

6. Operator of the facility of Bio-medical Waste 10000 (excluding transportation)

7.
