Dated Lucknow November 25, 2019 IN exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of section 44 of the Uttar Pradesh Harcourt Butler Technical. University Act, 2016 (U.P. Act no. 11 of 2016), the Governor is pleased to direct. that the. Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (Kanpur) Society Bye-Laws shall apply to the Harcourt Butler Technical University until the First statutes thereof are made with the following amendment. 5 (a} Screening Committée consisting of the following shall examine the credentials of all persons who have applied for a particular post(s) in the light of the requirements for the post(s) as given in the relevant advertisements and shalt forward names of qualified candidates for interview. The following will be the membership of the Screening Committee.

5. Screening Committee :-

(a) Screening Committee consisting of the following shall examine the credentials of all persons who -have applied for a_ particular post(s) in the light. of ‘the requirements for the post(s) as given in the relevant advertisements and shall forward names of qualified candidates for interview. The following will be the membership of the Screening Committee .

(b) A panel of experts in each field or specialization shall be approved by the Board from which the experts will be invited for the Selection Committee.

(i) The Selection Committee shall interview all the candidates called for interview on recommendation .of the -Screening Committee.

(ii) The Seiection Committee shaii interiaid consider the Bio-Data of any person suggested by any member of the Selection Committee or brought otherwise to its notice for the post of Professor only.

Gii) The . Selection Committee shall then recommend suitable candidates (not' more than three) for each post and shall arrange their names in order of performance. .

7(a) Qualification required for the various ‘academic and administrative posts shall be such as may, from time to time be laid down by the AICTE or the University to which the Institute is affiliated.

{b) The scales of pay and allowances for every post will be determined by the Board with the approval of the State Government.
