MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS

(Department of Pharmaceuticals) New Delhi, the 24th August, 2022 G.S.R. 113.—In pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 36 of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Act, 1998 (13 of 1998), the Central Government hereby make the following further amendments to the first Statutes of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research made under section 27 of the said Act by the Board of Governors of the Institutes with the previous approval of the Visitor, namely:-

2. (1) These statues may be called the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (Amendment) Statutes, 2022.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

3. In the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Statutes (hereinafter referred to as the said statutes), in paragraph (2), for clause (j), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-

(j) “Institute” means any of the institutions mentioned in column (3) of the Schedule to the said Act;”

4. In the said statutes, in paragraph 3, in sub. Paragraph (2), in clause (2), after sub-clause (k), the following sub-clause shall be inserted, namely:- “(1) to nominate two professors to the Board of Governors of the Institute.” RAJNEESH TINGAL, Jt. Secy.
