Uttar Pradesh Government Minority Welfare And Wagf Section-4, No.-440/52-4-2003-1(3)/96, Lucknow: Dated- 29 March, 2003 Motification In Exercise of the powers conferred by part (b) of section-2 of the Utta r Pradesh Minority Commission Act, 1994 the Governor hereby notifies the Jai n community native to Uttar Pradesh as a minority for the purposes of t he said Act.

Copy to the Joint Director, Government Printing Press, Aishbagh, Lucknow with the request to publish in part-4 section(b) of legislative appendix of Uttar Pradesh Extracrdinary Gazette dated 29 March, 2003.
