NOTIFICATION

The 23 rd November, 1979

No. S.O. 155/C.A. 16/27/27/79 – Whereas a declaration to constitute the land specified in the Schedule as a reserve forest has been issued with the Haryana Government, Forest Department, Notification No. S. O. 107/CA/16/27/S-4/74, Dated the st June, 1974.

And whereas the forest settlement of these lands has now been completed in accordance with the provisions contained in Chapter II of the Indian Forest Act 1927. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20 of the Indian Forest Act 1927, and in supersession of the Haryana Government, Forest Department, notification No. S.O. 85/CA/16/27/S20/77, dated the 8 th July, 1977, the Government of Haryana hereby specified according to the boundary marks (pillars) erected on the grounds and maps kept in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Gurgaon, the limits of the forest in the Schedule given below and declare the same as reserve with effect from four weeks after publication of the notification in the official Gazette.
