GUJARAT MOTOR VEIDCLES TAX ACT, 1958 l'oiQ.l'TnOI712IMTAlI22_01612l!SIII(H:~ WHEREAS, Shree Pragnachakshu Mahila Seva Kunj Trust, Surendranagar (hereinafter referred to as 'the said Trust'), a'registered trust under the Gujarat Public Trusts Act, 195O(Bom.XXIX of 1950) vide Registration No. F/3480/Surendranagar, for charitable purposes;

AND WHEREAS, the motor vehicle bearing Engine No. 497TC73DTY816907 and Chasis No. MAT751116GFD04709 belonging to the said trust is liable to payment of tax under the provision of entry IV -A 'Private Service Vehicle' of the First Schedule to the Gujarat Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958 (Bom. LXV of 1958);

AND WHERAS, the said trust has represented to the State Government to grant exemption from payment of tax of the said motor vehicle belonging to it on the ground that the vehicle is sole property of the said trust and is used for charitable purposes in public interest on no profit basis; AND WHEREAS, the State Government has considered the representation of the said trust in accordance with the provisions of rule 16A of the Bombay Motor Vehicles Tax Rules, 1959; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of powers conferred by sub section (2) of section 13 of the Gujarat Motor Vehicles Tax act, 1958 (Born. LXV of 1958) read with rule 16A of the Bombay Motor Vehicles Tax Rules, 1959, the Government of Gujarat hereby exempts the motor vehicle - Tata Star Bus bearing Engine No. 497TC73DTY816907 and Chasis No. MAT751116GFD04709 belonging to the said trust, from payment of annual motor vehicles tax up to the extent of Rs. 30,000/- (Rs. Thirty Thousand Only), till the same continues to. be in us~ or is kept for use in IV-B Ex.-87 87-1 87-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 21-03-2017 [PART IV-B furtherance of it, Charitable purposes/objectives, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
