NOTIFICATION

The 2nd December, 2013

No.S.0.109/C.A.27/1996/8.2/2013.- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 (Central Act No. 27 of 1996), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to specify the works given in the table below to be the works for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, namely :-

TABLE

I Making and erection of Tent or Pandal;

2 Making and ercction of Hoardings or Banners;

g Maintenance by way of sweeping and cleaning of building or other construction work;

Making and transportation of raw bricks;

Stone breaking work except stone breaking by Power Crushers; Tiles or block making from fly ash, cement and other material; Cutting, stacking or transportation of wood in Saw Mills; and N o v Cutting and fitting of glass.
