(ACCOUNTS BRANCH) Notification The 24th July, 2007 exercise of the powers conferre d by section 73 read with sections 17 and 18 of the Punjab Town Improvement Act, 1922 (Punjab Act No. 4 of 1922) and all other p owers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules, further to amend the Punjab Imp rovement Trust Employees, Pension and General Provident Fund R ules, 1994, namely :—

RULES

1. These rules may be called the " Punjeb Improvement Trust Employees, Pension and General Provident Fund (First Amendment) Rules, 2007.

2. In the Punjab Improvement Trust Employees, Pension and General Provident Fund Rules, 19 94 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 4, for sub-rule (2), the fcllowing sub-rule shall be substituted, namely :— «(2) The fund for the employees, who a re members of the pro- vingialised and non-provinsiali ced services, shall be estab- lished by the Regional Deputy Dir ector.”.

3. In the said rules, in rule 6, for subyule (1), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely :— «(1) The fund for the employees, who are members of the pro- vincialised and non-provinciali ced services, shall be kept and administered by the Regio nal Deputy i Dircctor.”.

4.
