(1) Executive Engineer or any officer of equivalent rank in respect or franchisees for all Low Tension installation upto 15 Horse Power;

(2) Superintending Engineer or any officer of equivalent rank in respect of franchisees for all ,Low Tension installation of more than 15 Horse Power; and

(3) Chief Engineer or any officer of equivalent r?-nk in respect or franchisees for all High Tension ' installations.

No, F.~~:05-2007-XIII.-:-In exercise of the powers conferred by sUQ-section (I) of Section 152 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2(03) and in supersession of this Department's Notification No. 4502-XIII-2004, dated 30th July 2004, ,which was published in the "Ma$y,,;

'Pradesh Gazette~' dated 6th August, 2004, the State Governement, hereby authorizes:the following officers of the Madhya Pradesh 'Sta~Electricity Board or its d~s~but.ion Companies or ..franchisees appointed by distnbutlon Companies. to a~pt from any consumer or pers~n \vho committed :::Ir who is reasonably s~spected of . havingc.ommitted ~11 offence of theft of electricity punishabl.:: under the said Act, a, sum of money by way vf Com:00l1nrling of th~ offe-nce as specified in -this -_ No. F.':1-3-2007-XIII.~tn'-~;~~ciseof the powers conferred under Sectionl64 of the Electricity Act, 2003 ' - (No. 36 of 2003), the State GOvernment, hereby confers upon the powers to Madhya Pradesh Power T~ansmission Company Limited, Madhya Pradesh PoorvlMadhyaJ Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company:Limited for the jurisdiction of the Licensee compnies or their authorized representative for placing of electric lines or electrical plant for the transmissiono.r distribution of electricity or for the purpose of telephonic or telegraphic Communication necessary for the proper co-ordination of works of tranmission or distribution of electricity as Telegraphic Authority posseSs under the provisions or the Indian Telegraphic Act, 1885 (13 of 1885).
