1. Definitions.- In these regulations, unless the context olherwtse required- fa) "A*t" means the Technology Development Board Act. 1995 (44 of l$P&}\ {b\ "appointing anthoritv" means the Chairperson or any other officer not below ihe rank of a Deputy Secretary to whom the power of appointment may be delegated by the Chairperson;

{c) "Board" means inc Technology Development Board constituted under subjection (1) of section 3 ohJic Ac(»

(e) "employee" means any officer or servant appointed as a staff of the Board as shown in column (2) of Schedule - [;
