NOTIFICATION

· No. 877//842/WCD/2612002.-ln exercise of lhe powers conferred by Section 79 of the Madhya Pradesh Re­ organisation Ac~ 2(;00 (No. 28 of 2000) lhe State Government hereby makes the following order, namely :-

ORDER

I. (i) This order may be called the Adaptation Order, 2002.

(ii) It shall come into force in lhe whole ~tate oi' Chhallisgarh on the 1st day of November;2000.

2. The laws as amended from time to time, specified in the schedule to this order, which were in force in the State of U1e Madhya Pradesh.immediately before the fom1ation of the State of Chhattisg~h. are hereby extended to and shall be in force in the State of Chhattisgarh until repealed or amended. Subject to the modification that in the laws for the words "Madhya Pradesh" wherever they occur the word "Chhauisgarh" shall be substituted.

3. Anything ~one or any action taken (including any appointment. notification, notice, order, rule, form, regulation, certificate or licence) in exercise of the powers conferred by or under the hws specified·in the schedule shall continue to be in force in lhe State of Chhattisgarh.
