NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Karnataka Government Servantʼs (Compulsory Life Insurance) Rules, 1958, namely:-
1. Title and Commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Government Servant’s (Compulsory Life Insurance) (Amendment) Rules, 2024.
(2) They shall be deemed to have been come into force with effect from the first day of August, 2024.
2. Amendment of Rule 8:- In the Karnataka Government Servant’s (Compulsory Life Insurance) Rules, 1958, in rule 8, for the `Table’ and entries relating thereunder, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
